IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (276) Adelheid / TYC 0106-01402-1 on November 5/6, 2001 visible from Russia, Caucasus area and Middle East Summary
In the night of November 5/6, 2001 a 10.7 mag star TYC 0106-01402-1 will be occulted by a 127 km asteroid (276) Adelheid. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and Tycho-2 star position.
The updated path shows ~3 path width east shift with time ~0.3 minutes later compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.
Updated path runs over Russian from north to south ~21:03.5-21:06 UT, Caucasus ~21:06.5 UT, and middle east around 21:08 UT. Please check the path chart for details.
