          (493) Griseldis / TYC 2895-02760-1 = SAO 57651 on September 17/18, 2002
        visible from Tunisia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Denmark, W Norway and Iceland
    
    
    Summary 

    In the night of September 17/18, 2002 an 8.6 mag star TYC 2895-02760-1 = SAO 57651 will be occulted by a 52 km asteroid (493) Griseldis. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and Mt.Palomar astrometry for the asteroid and Tycho-2 star position.

    The updated path shows ~4 path widths west shift with time ~0.2 minutes earlier compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

    Updated path runs over Tunisia ~22:01.4 UT, Italy with Rome on east limit ~22:02 UT, W Austria ~22:02.3 UT, Germany around 22:02.7 UT with Munich in path, Denmark ~22:03.3 UT, W Norway ~22:03.6 UT and Iceland ~22:05 UT.
    There is no recent oposition astrometry for this event so uncertainty may be as large as indicated. Observers within this area should try to observe. Please check the path chart for details.
