                (1208) Troilus / TYC 3358-02307-1 on November 22/23, 2002
               visible from Malaysia, India, S Russia, N Ukraine, S Belarus,
                 N Poland, N Germany, N Netherland, England and S Ireland
    
    Summary 

    In the night of November 22/23, 2002 a faint 13.0 mag star TYC 3358-02307-1 will be occulted by a 111 km asteroid (1208) Troilus. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and Tycho-2 position.

    The updated path shows ~4 path width north shift with time 0.7 minutes earlier minutes compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

    Updated path runs over Malaysia ~22:03 UT, India around 22:05 UT, S Russia ~22:08 UT with Volgograd in path, N Ukraine ~22:08.5 UT with Kharkov on south limit, S Belarus ~22:09 UT, N Poland ~22:09.5 UT, N Germany ~22:10 UT with Hamburg in path, N Netherlands 22:10.2 UT, England ~22:10.6 UT and S Ireland ~22:10.9 UT. Uncertainty is rather high, mainly because no better than Tycho-2 star position is available. Please check the path chart for details.
