             (795) Fini / HIP 41137 = SAO 42329 on December 18/19, 2002
       visible from Kuril Islands, Sakhalin, Siberia, N Russia, Baltic republics,
                 Poland, Czechia, SE Germany, W Austria and NW Italy
    
    Summary 

    In the night of December 18/19, 2002 a 9.0 mag star HIP 41137 = SAO 42329 will be occulted by a 79 km asteroid (795) Fini. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and Hipparcos star position.

    The updated path shows ~1 path width south shift with no time correction compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

    Updated path runs over Kuril Islands ~17:26 UT, Sakhalin ~17:27 UT, Siberia 17:28 to 17:34 UT, N Russia ~17:35 UT with St.Petersburg on north limit ~17:36 UT, Baltic republics around 17:36.4 UT, Poland ~17:36.8 UT, Czechia with Prague ~17:37.0 UT, SE Germany, W Austria and NW Italy around 17:37.3 UT.
