                 NE Austria, Czechia, Germany, Netherlands and Scotland
    
    Summary 

    In the night of January 17/18, 2003 a bright 9.7 mag star TYC 0814-01598-1 = PPM 125996 will be occulted by a 45 km asteroid (234) Barbara. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and recent UCAC star position.

    The updated path shows ~5 path width north shift with time 0.2 minutes later compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

    Updated path runs over south India around 23:56 UT, Turkey ~0:01.0 UT, NE Bulgaria ~0:01.9 UT, SW Romania ~0:02.2 UT just south of Bucharest, Hungary ~0:02.7 UT with Budapest in path, SW Slovakia ~0:02.9 UT with Bratislava in path, NE Austria ~0:03.0 UT with Vienna on south limit, Czechia ~0:03.3 UT just south of Prague, middle Germany around 0:03.6 UT, Netherlands ~0:03.9 UT and Scotland ~0:04.6 UT.
