IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (173) Ino / TYC 4990-00526-1 on February 7/8, 2003 visible from South Africa and Lesotho Summary
In the night of February 7/8, 2003 a faint 11.7 mag star TYC 4990-00526-1 will be occulted by a 159 km asteroid (173) Ino. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff astrometry for the asteroid and recent UCAC star position.
The updated path shows ~2 path width north shift with time 1.1 minutes later compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.
Updated path runs over South Africa 1:46.5-1:48.0 UT with Bloemfintein in path and Lesotho ~1.47.5 UT. Please check the path chart for details.
Clear sky and good luck !!!
