                        IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for
                 (346) Hermentaria / TYC 6842-01052-1 on July 2/3, 2003
                  visible from Iran, Saudi Arabia and mid-north Africa
    
    Summary 

    In the night of July 2/3, 2003 a faint 11.3 mag star TYC 6842-01052-1 will be occulted by a 110 km asteroid (346) Hermentaria. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and UCAC2-beta star position.

    The updated path shows ~2 path width south shift with no time correction compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

    Updated path runs over Iran ~21:10.5 UT, Saudi Arabia ~21:12.0 UT and mid-north Africa 21:13 UT to 21:20 UT. Please check the path chart for details.
