             (1010) Marlene / TAC -03 00197 on September 14/15, 2003
                visible from Finland, Sweden, N Denmark, England,
                       Dominican Rep., Haiti and Jamaica
    
    
    Summary 

    In the night of September 14/15, 2003 a faint 11.7 mag star TAC -03 00197 will be occulted by a 45 km asteroid (1010) Marlene. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff astrometry for the asteroid and UCAC2 star position.

    The updated path shows ~10 path width north shift with time ~1.6 minutes later compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

    Updated path runs due to south shift over middle Finland ~1:06.5 UT, south Sweden ~1:07.2 UT, north Denmark ~1:07.7 UT, England with London on south limit ~1:08.8 UT and after crossing Atlantic ocean follows Dominican Republic with Haiti ~1:19.8 UT and Jamaica ~1:20.4 UT.
