             (709) Fringilla / TYC 0570-01150-1 on September 26/27, 2003
           visible from S Russia, Ukraine, NE Hungary, Slovakia, S Czechia,
                     N Austria, S Germany, N France and NE USA
    
    
    Summary 

    In the night of September 26/27, 2003 a faint 11.6 mag star TYC 0570-01150-1 will be occulted by a 100 km asteroid (709) Fringilla. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and UCAC2 star position.

    The updated path shows ~4 path width south shift with time ~0.2 minutes later compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

    Updated path runs due to south shift over S Russia ~23:27.8 UT, Ukraine ~23:28.8 UT, NE Hungary ~23:29.6 UT, Slovakia ~23:29.8 UT, S Czechia and N Austria ~23:30.3 UT, S Germany ~23:30.8 UT, N France ~23:31.8 UT and NE USA ~23:41 UT. Please check the path chart for details.

    Target star is the southern one in 26" wide pair and it's slightly fainter than the northern component.Clear sky and good luck !!!
