Summary

In the night of November 17/18, 2003 a faint 11.3 mag star TYC 2422-00790-1 will be occulted by a 55 km asteroid (5144) Achates. This update is based on TMO and Ondrejov astrometry for the asteroid and UCAC2 star position.

The updated path shows ~0.6" north shift with time ~1.4 minute later compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

Updated path runs due to north shift over Khazachstan ~1:20.5 UT, Russia around 1:22.5 UT, Estonia ~1:24.3 UT, S Sweden ~1:25.0 UT, S Norway ~1:25.5 UT, NE Canada ~1:30.0 UT and NE USA ~1:30.8 UT. Please check the path chart for details.
