                         IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for
              (385) Ilmatar / HIP 34822 = SAO 41621 on January 19/20, 2004
       visible from India, midle East, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Canary Islands,
                            Surina, S Guyana and NW Brasil
    
    Summary 

    In the night of January 19/20, 2004 a bright 8.3 mag star HIP 34822 = SAO 41621 will be occulted by a 82 km asteroid (385) Ilmatar. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and UCAC2 star position.

    The updated path shows ~2 path widths north shift with time 0.4 minutes earlier compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.

    Updated path runs due to north shift over India ~23:15.6 UT, middle East around 23:19.5 UT, Tunisia ~23:22.9 UT, Algeria ~23:23.9 UT, Morocco ~23:25.3 UT, Canary Islands ~23:26.2 UT, Surinam ~23:31.6 UT, S Guyana ~23:32.0 UT and NW Brasil ~23:32.4 UT. Please check the path chart for details.
