IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (85) Io / TYC 0144-01868-1 on December 12/13, 2004 visible from Siberia, Russia, N Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, N Italy, S Switzerland, S France, NW Spain and N Portugal Summary
In the night of December 12/13, 2004 a faint 11.4 mag star TYC 0144-01868-1 will be occulted by a 178 km asteroid (85) Io. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and UCAC2 star position.
The updated path shows ~1.0 path width N shift with no time shift compared to Edwin Goffin's nominal prediction.
