    Summary

    In the evening of November 12, 2007 a faint 10.8 mag star TYC 6355-01269-1 will be occulted by a 108 km asteroid (40) Harmonia. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff, TMO and Hipparcos astrometry for the asteroid and UCAC2 star position.

    The updated path shows 1/5 path width south shift with time ~3 seconds earlier compared to Preston's update from 2007 Nov 7 @ 05:02 UT.

    Updated path runs over S Portugal ~19:04.5 UT, Spain ~19:04.9 UT, S France ~19:05.3 UT, Switzerland ~19:05.5 UT, S Germany ~19:05.6 UT, W Czechia ~19:05.7 UT, NW Poland ~19:05.8 UT and Baltic states at low altitude ~19:05.8 UT. Please check the path chart for details.

    Finding charts (prepared in GUIDE8):
     * occulted star is in center - labeled with cross
     * labeled stars have indicated SAO numbers
     * (smaller) square box shows 30' field in all wider field charts
     * (larger) square box shows 3° field in wide field charts
     * remarks:
       Target star is in middle Capricornus, about 24' NE of 5.2 mag star phi Capricorni = SAO 190173.
       !!! IMPORTANT !!!
       Purple stars in identification chart are so called 'non-star' objects in GSC; in dense fields
       the 'non-stars' are often real stars or blends of close pairs. Be careful about this.
