IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (329) Svea / TYC 4753-01273-1 on November 23/24, 2005 visible from S Portugal, Spain, S France, Switzerland, S Germany, W Czechia, NW Poland and Baltic states Summary
In the night of November 23/24, 2007 a faint 10.6 mag star TYC 4753-01273-1 will be occulted by a 78 km asteroid (329) Svea. This update is based on USNO/Flagstaff and TMO astrometry for the asteroid and UCAC2 star position.
The updated path shows 0.4 path width south shift with time ~7 seconds earlier compared to Preston's update from 2007 Nov 7 @ 06:08 UT.
Updated path runs over Baltic states ~23:37.0 UT, NW Poland ~23:37.7 UT, NW Czechia ~23:38.1 UT, Germany ~23:38.6 UT, NW Switzerland 23:39.0 UT, France 23:39.6 UT, Spain ~23:40.6 UT and Portugal ~23:41.2 UT. Please check the path chart for details.
