I have started cooperation with Satellite Department of Czech Hydrometeorological Institute which kindly provides METEOSAT
satellite images. I have decided to replace due time all NOAA images with METEOSAT images because of their uniform coverage of all
European continent and also because these images are taken every 30 minutes, so each event will have corresponding image not
more than 15 minutes distant if possible. The only minor disadvantage is slightly lower resolution. NOAA images replaced with
METEOSAT images for events up to end of February.
